Labor struggles, a lack of commodities and supply chain snarls continue to drive product shortages, keeping selection limited and shelves a little less full. These same issues are also leading to a lack of packaging for in-demand goods. In the latest episode of The Dairy Download, we speak with two executives finding new ways to get the right products into consumer hands.
Joining us first is Seth Teply, President and CEO of Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada. From a clamor for paper to a deficit of resin, he sheds light on the products seeing the most demand and the biggest shortages. He also discusses Tetra Pak’s focus on sustainability and how packaging can be used to connect with consumers.
Next, we speak with Murray Bain, Vice President of Marketing for Stanpac. From glass milk bottles to ice cream pints, he talks about Stanpac’s evolution in the dairy packaging space. He also talks about what’s driving today’s challenges and when – or if – we’ll see an end of packaging shortages.
